The Kinamu Addresses for Sugar add-on extends SugarAI’s native functionality by allowing you to store any number of addresses for each Account, Contact, Lead, Prospect, Business Center or Quote. It helps overcome the limitations of standard address fields and supports more detailed, structured data management.
More Flexibility for Real-World Scenarios
Many organizations work with multiple addresses per contact or company—such as billing, shipping, branch offices, or historical locations. This module makes it possible to handle such cases in a consistent and organized way, directly within SugarAI.
Key features
Primary Address Selection
You can mark any saved address as the primary address. The standard address fields in SugarAI will then reflect this choice, which can help keep external integrations, reports, and documents aligned with the most relevant location.
Automatic Address Entries Creation for New Parent Beans
In case of a new bean with address entries is created in a supported Sugar core module (e.g., Accounts), the corresponding Addresses module entries are automatically created.
Address Versioning by Type
The module supports versioning of addresses based on address type. This means you can retain multiple versions within the same category (e.g., old and new billing addresses), allowing you to reference previous data without overwriting current information.
List All Account-related Addresses
You can embed an advanced option in your filters. All relevant Sugar core modules' addresses with connection to one or more accounts can be selected in a filtered list.
Import Sugar Addresses
You can import your existing Sugar addresses to this addon's collection and use all it's features with them.
Optional Google Maps Features
Important notice: These features require an additional subscription which is purchased separately.
If you have a valid Google Maps API key, the module provides two additional features:
Autocomplete search for address fields, helping to reduce manual entry and improve consistency.
Automatic geocoding, which allows the system to store geographic coordinates for validation or further processing.
Nearby-search for listing all address entities in the nearby area.
- Route planning by using two or more address entries as waypoints - get an overview of an optimized route in Sugar and create the detailed version on the Google Maps website.
- Point-and-click address selection allows you to create an address entry without knowing the textual representation of a location.
